Castle Mall in Norwich city centre has converted one of its unoccupied units to free office space for local SMEs. The office can be used for catching up on admin or even for holding meetings.

Robert Bradley, manager of Castle Mall, has said: “We understand the pressures that small businesses, charities and community groups face. Having a professional place to hold meetings is one of the struggles that can affect many of them. We hope our new Sharing Office is a solution for our community.”

This comes a few weeks after Norwich was announced as the UK’s first Sharing City, an initiative that sees cities across the globe contributing to a sharing economy with projects such as the Sharing Office at Castle Mall. Other projects in and across the Sharing City of Norwich include the Car Club which provides vehicle hire by the hour and Norwich FarmShare that provides fresh, local produce to its members each week, delivered by bike.
